Action Alert: Help Spread Message Like Wildfire Ask Someone: Did You Email Trump Yet?
Background: We must do everything we can to get our message to President Trump before he signs the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement next Wednesday, January 29, 2020. If you have not yet sent your email – now is the time to do it (use the link and the text provided below)! Starting right now and through the weekend here is everyone’s next mission, should you choose to accept it:
We must also get others to send an email too. Start the conversation with someone you know and let them know that you need them to email President Trump. If everyone does this, our message will spread like wildfire which is exactly what is needed to get it to the President.
Your friend, relative, in-law, co-worker, hired hand, or neighbor very likely supports mandatory country-of-origin labeling for beef and would like to help they just haven’t been asked yet. You must ASK THEM!
Here’s How to Start the Conversation:
“Did you email Trump yet about your beef?”
If They Respond YES: “That’s great, thank you for your help! We need as many emails as possible sent before next week, have you asked anyone else to also send an email?”
If They Respond NO: “I am part of a grassroots campaign asking President Trump to restore country-of-origin labeling for beef in the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement. Will you please send an email to the President before he signs this new trade agreement next Wednesday and let the President know that Americans cannot do what he says and choose to buy USA beef unless mandatory country-of-origin labeling for beef is in the Agreement?”
If They Want to Help: “Great, what is the best way to get you the link to email him and the text that you can use in your email message?”
Be sure to follow through and give them the link and the text below for them to send their email. Also, follow-up with them to see that they got it sent without any troubles and again thank them for their help!
