My husband and I were so fortunate to have been educated by Wayne Hage and Helen Chenoweth-Hage about property, and that in order to truly have liberty you must own the right to own property. I feel that I have a duty to pass on what they so generously shared with me and I appreciate the opportunities that R-CALF has given me to do that.
I hope grassroots cattle producers appreciate that R-CALF has never compromised its position by becoming beholden to other interests or by taking funding such as grants from neither government nor non-governmental organizations whose interests conflict with those of independent U.S. cattle producers.
R-CALF depends on members and others who truly support us in our efforts to remain independent and financially viable, just as we depend on R-CALF to represent our interests in Washington, D.C. and other forums.
Together we should be fighting to keep this nation strong, independent and financially viable. I believe I can help R-CALF, members in Region I, as well as members across the nation as Region I Director.
