The event will take place at the Best Western Plus University Park Inn\, located at 2500 University Blvd. in Ames\, Iowa. \nEric Nelson\, R-CALF USA Region VII Director and ISGA President\, will provide an organizational update\, and R-CALF USA CEO Bill Bullard will address national issues impacting independent U.S. cattle producers. Topics include mandatory electronic identification (MEID)\, checkoff reform\, mandatory country of origin labeling (MCOOL)\, antitrust lawsuit\, and the potential effects of mRNA vaccines on the industry. \nThe meeting will begin at 10:30 a.m. and conclude by 2 p.m. A Hickory Park BBQ lunch will be served at noon.
