Randy
Stevenson, Region II Director, Vice President Randy Stevenson of Wheatland, Wyo., is the director of Region II and serves as Vice President. Stevenson and his wife, Charlie, his father, Jim, and brother, Terry, run Double S Livestock, a cattle feeding operation near Wheatland. When the next generation is ready, he wants to hand them a viable industry that’s full of opportunity. Stevenson is active in agricultural issues. He serves as vice president of the Organization for Competitive Markets (OCM) and is currently Chairman of the Platte County Republican Party in Wyoming. His involvement has helped shape the views of many Wyoming Republicans on agricultural issues. Randy publishes a weekly column in the Wyoming Livestock Roundup and The Record Stockman, agricultural publications circulated in several states. He invests himself in furthering the competition movement, antitrust issues and advocates for honorable trade agreements. Three years ago, Randy founded the Steak on the Fourth, a program committed to seeing to it that American soldiers stationed overseas are served U.S. beef on the Fourth of July. |
